As you all might have noticed, the location of Eurocup events has been often speculated on. It was a bit chaotic and nothing was certain as usual.

The Czech republic was among countries that sent an application to organize an event. We sent the application to respective organizations and decribed how nice could the event in Prague be. Other countries that applied for the organizationship were Sweden and Netherlands. The freestyle comittees from many countries have given their opinions via email and everybody agreed. Later on Switzerland also applied for an event in Thun.

In the end it all turned up differently, Mike Birbeck made the final decission. The event in Galicia (Spain) is supossed to be kind of a trial event for the European Championship 2008.
