World Cup info
It has been brought to the attention of the committee (unofficially) that each country will have limited places available for entry to the World Cup competitions in Europe this year. Initially this will be 15, but is likely to be extended if other countries are unable to send a full 15 paddlers. We are in the process of contacting the ICF to try and clarify the situation. We would like to make it clear that the UK Freestyle committee believes the World Cup should be an open event and not a team event (like the World/European Championships), it is therefore unlikely that we will select paddlers on paddling performance to represent Great Britain, and there will not be any support in terms of funding or team managers for British paddlers. We will let you know more about the situation as soon as the ICF have officially responded.
